Our Story
Born from a Community's Love for Its Teachers
The Reynaldo Martinez Teacher Inspiration Fund was founded by Diane Martinez and a dedicated group of community members who believed that great teaching deserves great support. Named in honor of Reynaldo Martinez Elementary School, the fund was created to bridge the gap between what teachers need and what school budgets can provide.
Too often, teachers spend their own money on classroom supplies, field trips, and professional development. We set out to change that — one grant at a time.
Since our founding, we have awarded grants totaling over $240,000 to teachers across every grade level, funding everything from STEM projects and technology to professional conferences and creative arts programs.
